They say fraud is at an all time high. Yeah sure, I doubt that. You have to be quite clever to not get caught. it’s just a matter of whether or not they want to catch you. Most issues regarding this matter go to IC3. Which is the FBI division that deals with cyber crime. I was forced to make several complaints to them throughout my situation. They only classify a cyber crime I guess when it relates to finances in a financial transaction being made. Other than that you’re kind of on your own.
From a street level if someone is committing fraud, I’ve learned that it’s typically going to involve some type of identity theft. In which that’s what people need to be careful because your information to be all over the place.
so I want to just say this I have an email address that somehow is circling across the dark web. But the email is in active. Yeah it comes up in data breaches.
